Toy Story 3

We decided to take Savannah to her first real movie over Thanksgiving weekend. We went to see Toy Story 3 at the ghetto dollar movie on a Sunday morning & had the entire theater to ourselves! She was entertained for about 3/4 of it & then wanted to run around-that's when having the theater to ourselves came in handy! It was such a successful outing that we took her to see Polar Express at the Omni last weekend. She was totally amazed by the huge screen!

Tree Decorating

Savannah was so excited about getting out the Christmas decorations this year! She likes the reindeer ears : )
Our stockings that I made : )
We had several more additions to our tree with a few baby ornaments for Savannah & a 'mommy' ornament from me.
She loves her jingle-bell-snowman & can't seem to leave him on the tree...I find him all over the house.
Putting the angel on top.
All finished & the tree is Savannah-proof with no breakables on the lower part : )
And she loves our new moose! (He actually goes in the front yard, but Bran was testing him out.)

Christmas in Sundance Square

We LOVE living in Ft. Worth & love our sweet little downtown. I especially love it at Christmas time! We decided to take Savannah to see the big tree downtown & meet the Santa in Sundance Square.

Let's just say that she isn't a big fan of Mr. Claus yet. The only way she would get near him without screaming was in Daddy's lap. Here is a pic of the first attempt & she got hysterical! Poor Santa.
Here is the sad pic that we actually paid for.
Since Dad was already in the pic, one of the elves told me to hop up next to Santa as well for a family shot. Hopefully next year won't be as traumatic!
Isn't the court-house beautiful at night?
And this is little one passed out when we got home : )

The Shaws
Nonna & JO
Savannah loves playing with her second cousins Chloe & Jaxon.
Rolling on the floor : )
Delicious lunch at Aunt Tammy's & Cousin Chelsea's.

A few pics of the little one at home showing off her polk-a-dots.

Done with the flower Mom!

She loved peeking at Juliette in the box...so entertaining!

The Big 3-0

Well, I am 30. I can remember the episode of Friends when Rachael turns 30 & it was so traumatic for her. Thankfully, my bday was nothing like Rachel's. My darling husband planned a night out on the town to celebrate the weekend before. It was all a surprise, from dinner at Reatta downtown, to the Elton John concert, to dancing at a new club, Vice, in Sundance Square, to an amazing room at the Omni hotel. The night was a blast! And then he planned a dinner with my friends at Bucca di Beppo for later in the week. What a sweet husband & what sweet friends! I keep getting asked if I feel 30 or "old". Well, I do every now & then...but it's usually very fleeting : )

World Series Baby!

Yes, we were at game 5 (final game) of the World Series with Blake & Adam! Wow! Sad that we lost, but so proud of our Rangers for making it that far & what an incredible game to experience in person. Savannah has no idea what a lucky little girl she is : )
