Slade's ONEderland

 It actually snowed the day before his bday party & we were a little afraid that we were going to have to call the party off! But the party day turned out beautifully & there was only snow inside : )

 The kiddos made their own snowmen out of playdough.

 And played pin-the-nose-on-the-snowman.

 Lots of cute little snowmen showed up to celebrate!

12 Months

Our sweet Baby Slade is ONE! How can that be?! It's gone by quickly, but I think because we know he's the last, we have enjoyed every second & not rushed it. And I refuse to regret that I still carry him around all day : ) He is standing on his own a bit & did take a few steps to daddy a few days after his bday though. His favorite thing continues to be his walker & he is quite the speed demon with it! He runs (yes, runs) down our steep driveway pushing it & pretty much flies into the cul-de-sac. And he loves to be outside: walks, backyard, park, whatever! He doesn't use many actual words, but mumbles his Slade-talk all the time, and clearly understands much of what we say. His big brother & sister do his talking for him. He is a fantastic eater & loves to use his own fork. His hair has just gotten long enough that the ends are starting to curl a big & he looks just like his siblings before him. Can't wait for more blonde curls to come! He loves bath time & gets so excited when I turn the water on in the tub! He still naps twice a day & is easy to put down. We just lay him on his tummy with a blankie & pat his back a couple of times. He gives kisses & is really proud of his high-fives. He weighs 20 pounds, 10 ounces & is 31 inches.We think the world of our sweet 1-year-old!
