All Hallows' Eve 2016

They rocked the characters from Princess Bride this year for Halloween.
I mean, I think he was more "Man in Black" than Wesley was.
Our beautiful Princess Buttercup
And of course, Inigo.

And let us never forget that Spencer's love for Whoppers or "Snap Balls" as he calls them began here.

11 Months

Our almost-one-year old (eeekk!) is all over the place and never still! (as our photo attempt above proves). He's crazy fast at crawling & now uses his walker like a little old man flying about the house. And when he hits something, he backs it up, turns a little, and maneuvers around it! He'll even stand on his own for about a second. He continues to be busy making a mess of the house and almost waits until my back is turned to get in the bathroom & unroll the toilet paper or crawl into the laundry room & empty the cat's bowls. He says dada & mama a lot & knows what it means and although mama is his go-to word, I am the only one he refuses to kiss. It's kinda getting ridiculous. If sister or brother or even daddy asks for a kiss, he leans in with his open mouth. But more often than not, if I ask for a kiss he smiles & then slaps me across the face. Not cool bro. He's gotten the nickname Stone Cold Slade because of his seriousness. He is famous for his stone cold looks & is definitely the most serious of our children. On the other hand, he's also the most ticklish & you're certain to get a belly laugh out of him if you tickle the bottom of his feet. Team Shaw sure loves our youngest member!
