Real Snow!!

We couldn't believe our eyes when we woke up to the beautiful snow on Thursday. It was the perfect snow for snowballs & snowmen (Too bad our little snowbunny isn't old enough to really enjoy those things.)

Sitting & Rolling

Sav's now to a point where she's starting to roll balls around...so fun!

Oh yeah...she can just now sit by herself too!

Valentine's Day is Almost Here

Bran adopted a penguin through the Ft. Worth Zoo for Savannah for Valentine's. In return, they sent her the softest little stuffed one. Here she is hugging him.
Here is her Valentine from Pops & Gramma Shaw. She loved the balloon.
This is Bran playing the elevator game with her. She loves getting to the top floor & seeing the view.

4 Months Old

We went in for her 4 month check-up last week. She is 14 pounds (50%), 25 1/2 inches long (75-90%...tall like Daddy) & her head is 40 cm (25%...tiny head like Mommy). What a little lady she is now! We can't believe how she went from looking like a baby only a month ago to looking like a little girl. She is holding & grabbing a lot. She has found her feet & loves to hold them. The newest thing is people's faces. She loves to feel your face & especially grab on to your nose. (I had a finger poked painfully high up my nose last week.) We also really have to be careful because she knocks anything within reach onto the floor or tries to eat it. She is talking all the time & loves to smile & giggle. I think we have slowed down on the teething (thankfully!) She had those 2 poke through the skin at the end of December, but hasn't seemed near as fussy about her teeth since then. She is a fantastic eater-very enthusiastic! This past month she has really turned into a mamma's girl-I guess because we are two peas in a pod for most of the day together. She is even like that towards Bran sometimes too. The two of them will have a great hour together while I'm at the gym, but when I come home & go to take a shower, she cries until I get out & hold her (it's because she knows I'm there.) She's as strong as ever & about ready to sit up on her own. All she lacks for sitting or standing is just a little more balance. No rushing any of that though! We want to take advantage of holding our little girl as long as possible!

Now THAT is tired!

And so is this... (I am holding her by the chest-not choking her, I promise!)
