Our Little Trouble

When I cleared the pics off our camera for our trip to Mexico I found a few good ones...These two look like they are straight out of some children's book. Take your eyes off them for 5 seconds & this is what happens:

11 Months

Savannah has been all smiles, waves & giggles this last month-what a sweetie! She is SO fun to be with. She mastered waving a week ago & waves at everyone: guy running across the street, lady at Target, Juliette (every single time she sees her), etc. She has 4 teeth now (2 on top & 2 on bottom) & they make the sweetest smile! She has just recently decided that everything is funny & is constantly laughing. My favorite is when she is playing by herself & we catch her just laughing at her toys. She has become quite speedy with her baby buggy & zips all over the house. This weekend she started walking. Before it was just two steps at a time, but now she'll walk a few steps, stand, walk a few more. And with no help! She is eating much better now and loves to feed herself. She's a little carnivore & loves sandwich meat, shredded chicken & my homeade meatballs : ) Savannah, we can't believe that it's been 11 months & that next month you will be one! These pics actually kinda make your Daddy & I sad b/c you look like such a little girl now, not a baby! We love you so much & enjoy every sweet second with you!

The day before she turned 11 months, Savannah decided to take off! She'd only been taking about 2 or 3 steps at a time, but now it's more!

Welcome Home JuJu!

For those of you who didn't know, our sweet kitty of 5 years went missing 3 1/2 weeks ago. We spent a week walking the streets, calling her name, talking to neighbors, visiting animal shelters & crying ourselves to sleep (yep). We were devastated. Well, last night I got a text from an unknown number asking if we were missing a cat named Juliette. We couldn't believe it! The guy lived just one street behind us & so we ran over there! (Savannah had just about gone to sleep & we just grabbed her, sleepsack & all!) Juliette was totally scared, had lost a lot of weight (but that is kinda a good thing...working out & eating right isn't a priority for her), but other than that looked just fine! Thank you God! Our little family is finally complete again.

Savannah wouldn't go to sleep after that, she was so excited to have her sister home. And Juliette was so excited to be home that she let Savannah pet her as much as she wanted : )

We'd been wanting these chairs from World Market & they finally went on sale! We hadn't seen the little chairs before, but they had one red one we saw as we were checking out...it was meant to be! (And our red chairs match our red door : )
