Cowboys vs. the Saints

We went to the Cowboy's game right before Christmas to watch them play New Orleans. They were giving out Cowboy's Santa hats!

 This one is sensitive to the loud noise, but loved her new headphones!

 She was asleep before we even got to the car : )

Family Dinner

We had both my parents & Brandon's parents over for dinner. We cooked everything from A Cowboy in the Kitchen cookbook (Reata recipes): Jalapeno Margaritas, Cream of Jalapeno Soup, Grilled Strip Steak with Cilantro Butter, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, Cheese & Bacon Grits, & Biscuit Pudding with Southern Comfort Cream for dessert : ) And sweet Savannah set the table. Such a wonderful evening with our favorite people!

Christmastime in Grapevine

Downtown Grapevine goes all out for Christmas with cute decorations. We decided to take the girls there for the morning to shop & have lunch. No boys!

 The girls each got to pick out a Christmas ornament for their tree & were so proud of carrying their little bags around! Savannah got a rainbow : )

Pumpkins & Pancakes

This was our second year to attend the zoo's Pumpkins & Pancakes breakfast event. Yummy food & free rides on the train & carousel : )

 

And this dude was just walking around. Savannah loved the idea of turkeys until she met one in real life...a little different than the cartoon turkeys.
