Sophie's 2nd Bday Party

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have celebrated our anniversary with the DeCicco's. The first year was at the hospital when Sophie was born. This year it was her 2nd bday party with a train theme. They even had a read train taking the kids (& parents) for rides.

Cowboys vs. Eagles

Saturday we used our season tickets & went to the Cowboy's game with Adam & Jenny. The boys had each gotten these sweet Cowboy's tents from the Shaws for Christmas & so (despite the ridiculously cold weather) we tailgated.

Kris & Blake babysat Savannah back home & kept her very entertained.

6 Year Anniversary

It has definitely been the greatest 6 years of my life! Amazing husband & beautiful little girl! We decided to celebrate quietly at home with just the 3 of us. We did 3 courses of fondue & drank a bottle of wine we brought back from France 5 years ago-it was all so yummy!

Savannah at 3 Months

Such a fun & happy baby! Our little family is having such a blast! Savannah's emotions have calmed down tremendously this last month & she mostly only cries when she needs something. And let me tell you...that baby cries when she's wet!! You would think she was in pain, but I guess she is just a little lady & hates to not be clean & dry! She laughs now & talks all the time. They say their personalities really are much more developed at 3 months & that is so true. No crawling yet-she actually doesn't like to be on her stomach much. She'll just push herself up as much as she can (like the Cobra position for you yoga people.) But with the way she stands & holds up all of her weight on her legs & stomps in place I expect her to take off running any day. She is also learning to entertain herself a lot better now. For the first 2 months she hated being put down. These past few weeks we've used her swing & bumbo chair a lot more. She'll just sit there & watch her little hanging toys & talk. She also holds things now. Anything that comes near her hands she grabs on to. She finally acknowledged our cat Juliette the other day. Savannah will watch her when she walks by & smiles when her tail brushes her face. We have also decided that I will stay home with her instead of returning to work. What a blessing! We have had so much fun with her these first 3 months & are really looking forward to the next 3 & not having to miss out on anything!
