We took a big family vacay to Gulf Shores over 4th of July week with all of my Dad's family. Savannah, Corey, my parents, & I left on a Friday to drive down & Bran flew down Tuesday. I purposefully didn't get out the camera till he got there, but did get a few phone pics of our stop in New Orleans along the way.
Savannah's first trip to Bourbon Street (well, first trip outside of my belly).
These guys threw beads to her from their balcony.
Crying over the loss of one strand of beads : )
Just one of the yummy meals we had there.
The party really got started when Bran showed up in Gulf Shores!
Working on a tan.
Building sea creatures in the sand.
Where's Daddy?
We had to stop at these shops because Savannah really wanted to see the octopus & shark up close.
Our little oyster!
I don't know if Savannah preferred playing in the sand or the waves...both were so fun!
She loved smashing right into the waves as they were about to crash with Daddy.
And she loved her Poppy holding her where the waves broke & just laughed at him getting destroyed!
All the boy cousins body surfing.
And now having a sandcastle competition.
We got to watch fireworks from the beach on the Fourth...so pretty!
Checking out a lifeguard stand.
We had ice-cream at a stand across from our condo most nights & one night they had 1/2 priced banana splits if you brought your own bananas...we came prepared.
Splitting a split.
Corey lucked out with Savannah as his partner.
We each got our own : )
Clint & Holli got their own too!
We sure missed Jamey, Danae & baby Jameson!
The last day Savannah found this tiny tube on the beach & fell in love with it-just her size!
The Christensens brought some snacks to feed the seagulls.
She loved to chase the birds down the beach.
Savannah wore this cute little sailor's dress & hat the last night & got more attention than ever! No lie, people called to her from inside restaurants as we passed by & people rolled their windows down while driving down the street to speak to her. So funny!
Her daddy let her get a RED snow-cone after dinner...
Ooops!
It was such a fun & relaxing trip with the family! Already ready to go back to the beach!
