Stealing hearts for 6 months now. Oh I love this man! He is getting so big & strong. At his 6 month check-up he was 20 lbs 10 oz (92%) & 28 1/4 inches (95%.) We just moved him up to size 4 diapers & he just outgrew a 12 month outfit-yikes! He still wears a lot of 12 month clothes, but 18 month seems to fit more comfortably. He sits up very well on his own. He not only grabs everything in sight, but he is reaching with the whole length of his long body for everything in sight. This poses a problem at meal time because if I'm holding him, I can't get my plate out of his reach & still be able to reach it myself! And when he does grab something, he is often stronger than me & I can't get it away from him. He is rolling not only front to back, but back to front all the time now. He inches back when all his tummy too & will be in a different place on the floor when I go to pick him up. He can scoot around in his walker pretty well now, but more often is flying like in a race car with his sister running & pushing. He has the sweetest little voice & sings when in an especially good mood. He has tried baby cereal some, but doesn't seem to be a fan yet. He does sit in the highchair at mealtime with the family though. He loves his mama & can be completely happy in someone's arms, but if he sees me walk by he starts to cry. He goes to sleep well on his own-I lay him on his back with a paci & a blanky (which he hold up against his face) & he rolls over on his left side & goes to sleep-so easy! He is such an easy baby in so many other ways too & so good! You know you have a good baby when a young man without kids comments on how good your baby is : ) He has had a bit of a rough month with teething though. None are in, but we can feel the ones in the top front & they bother him sometimes when he's trying to go to sleep. We feel bad for him because he rarely cries, so when he does, we know something isn't right. He likes riding in the umbrella stroller now because he can see what's going on. He loves peek-a-boo & patty-cake with his sister. He loves reading books in bed with his sister at bedtime-I feel like he's even paying attention to the books. And he loves pretty much any silly game his sister makes up for them to play. Such a sweetie! We have loved this first half year with him & know the second half will be even more fun!
