Our big girl is 5 months old now! Here she is sitting up and playing in these pics-that is her biggest accomplishment this month. She was barely sitting up a month ago & now she is a pro! And she loves it! I can sit her on a blanket & she will play with her toys for 30-45 minutes. I think she loves to feel independent. She has fantastic eye-hand coordination. She plays with her toys, grabs noses (okay, grabs everything within reach) & can even pick up her paci & get it turned the right way & in her mouth (this does take some concentration though.) She is also trying to sit up from a laying down position. She's not there yet, but she does kinda a half crunch. She does pull herself up to a standing position while holding your hands (but no help other than balancing). She even likes laying on her tummy now & I'm even thinking she might not skip the crawling stage like we initially though. I have been more forceful about tummy time (she didn't like it for a while), and now she does like it. She scoots around some & plays with balls, but hasn't attempted crawling yet. She especially like to roll the ball with her Daddy. He bounces it off her belly & she thinks it's so funny! She loves the sound of her voice & squeals ALOT. She's eating very well (as evident in the latest picks!) She has really filled out! She was a pretty skinny baby a month ago, but now she's getting some rolls & meat on her legs-I love it! She seems to be sleeping more lately. She actually took 2 hour naps this week which is major progress! Still sleeping through the night & is now getting tired earlier (like 8:00). Loves her feet & even puts them in her mouth...so flexible! She loves to go on walks in her stroller & we are pumped that the weather is getting better so that we can do that more often!
