Oh baby girl, we can't believe it's been a year! You are an absolute doll! You are a ham & a drama queen & capture everyone's attention with your beautiful blue eyes, long eyelashes, loud laugh, clapping, waving & running around. Your walking has gone from wobbly one short month ago to confident & fast. You are constantly climbing, opening cabinets, pulling out drawers, rearranging our house, squeezing in to tight places (& often getting stuck) & talking to yourself in the mirror. You have discovered the two holes in your nose & think your fingers fit there perfectly. You are constantly learning to eat more foods-you love cheese, yogurt, beans, guacamole, fruit, cheerios & even lasagna! You have learned how to sign "finished" when you are done eating. Most days you go down for a nap pretty quickly (yay!) You help when getting dressed & undressed by stepping out of your pants or putting your arms out for your shirt to go on. You have 4 teeth & 2 more teeth on top that have recently broken through. Savannah, we thought our lives were perfect, & then you came along & made them even better! Last night your daddy & I were trying to decide what was sweeter...when you first wake up in the morning & are so happy & give us big kisses on the mouth & sing to us, or when we rock you to bed at night & you just curl up in our laps, lay your sweet head on our chests & pat our arms until you fall asleep...we couldn't decide...but those are two of the most precious moments of our day.
I didn't realize she just turned 1! Happy Birthday Savanah!
