Weekend in San Antonio

After a sad week last week (our cat Juliette got lost), Bran surprised his girls with a weekend trip & didn't even tell us until we were in the car that we were heading to San Antonio. What a sweetie!! The first night we had the best Mexican food I've had in San Antonio at Los Barrios. The patio was great & reminded us of Joe T's.

Our hotel room had an amazing view!
Turns out it was Cowboy's training camp weekend (B claims he didn't know until after he booked it : ) So we went to the Saturday morning practice.
She's ready for football season to begin!
Dad & his little cheerleader.
Dinner on the Riverwalk on Saturday night.

We had fun walking the riverwalk.

Sunday morning we had brunch at this adorable old home turned into a restaurant & museum called the Guenther House. Pancakes, biscuits & gravy, bacon, coffee...yummy!
Thanks babe for the great weekend!

Up Close at the Ranger's Game

If it seems like we go to a lot of Ranger's games, well, it's because we do! This time Jamey shared his great work seats with us & we were right there in all the action. You could even see our little cheerleader clapping on t.v. in the corner when they showed the batter!
Thanks Uncle Jamey for the fun night!

Clint & Holli's Wedding

Last Friday night was Savannah's first wedding to attend. (Can't believe we haven't had a wedding since last summer. It seems like a few years ago we had weddings every other weekend! I've missed them! I love weddings!) So, I had unrealistic expectations of her wedding behavior & marched her to the front of the church to sit in the family section...she made it till just after the bride came down the isle! Oh well, Daddy took her outside with her little cousin Claire & they talked the rest of the ceremony.
The beautiful couple!
My sweet grandparents with their coordinating pinks.
Of course she danced.

Little flower heads!
My bruthas.

Our New Pool

Last Friday was hot & I decided to get out our blow-up-pool for Savh. 5 minutes of blowing it up was enough for me! In my resourcefulness, I remembered we had a bucket for ice & sodas...so here's Savh's fancy new pool. She even has an umbrella!

And being that we were in our own private pool, & protected from the sun...
...I made bathing suits optional.
It was the perfect size for her to stand in.
She loved it so much that she cried when I took her out!
The End : )

Ranger's Game with Friends

We had a big night out at the Ranger's game with my 3 college roomies, their boys, & 2 of our little girls. We had enough peeps for our own baseball team!
Savannah sat with Jess & Jeremy & cheered for her boys!
Lily is old enough now to play with Savannah. She kept grabbing her face. (There's a taste of your own medicine Savh!) And Savh is thankful the relationship isn't one-sided anymore!

Savannah & Brayden

We had brunch with my friend Kristen & her 1 & 1/2 month old Brayden. So cute! He makes Savannah look like such a big girl!

Lakehouse Weekend

We spent last weekend with the Shaws at their friends' lakehouse on Eagle Mountain Lake. Thanks Leonards for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Savannah was ready to hit the water!
Perched on the floatie.
What a bathing beauty!
Checking out Pop's silly hat.
In the shade with Gramma.
Queen of the pool.
She ate her lunch on the floatie as well.
Barb & the puppy got some Savannah time.
She liked "air drying" : )
Don't worry, we didn't actually take her out on the jetskiis!
We did take her out on the boat though. Here Bran is putting on the super-tiny lifejacket.
It was really windy!
She was a little nervous; no crying, but no smiling either.
Watching the sunset.
Love this pic of her & her little piano!
Playing Mexican Train dominos.
Adam taught her how to hold the dominos.
Couldn't believe what a little night-owl she was!
