Vegas, baby!!!

Brandon was turning the big 3-0 on March 9th & I had a surprise trip to Vegas in the works since last fall...yep, 6 months ago! And it took that long to secretly save up the money & plan everything! I asked his brother Adam & girlfriend Jenny to come along as well & so Adam was the biggest help with all the sneaky planning. Savannah & I surprise-kidnapped Bran from work that Friday morning & after dropping her off with her grandma, we were off to the airport (& Bran had no idea where we were going or what we were doing until we were to the airport!) Adam & Jenny went on that morning to Vegas & were our surprise ride when we got there. We had gorgeous suites at the new Cosmopolitan with balconies overlooking the strip. It was a wonderful weekend & I am so glad to be done with sneaking around & so happy that it stayed a surprise!
Bye-bye sweet girl! We will miss you!
Friday night we had amazing Italian food at Capo's, a mafia themed restaurant. We were even let in through a secret door after the guy opened a little slot in the wall to question us on who we were & if we were armed. It was so dark in there you needed tiny flashlights to read the menu! So fun!

Checking out the Chandelier Bar in our hotel. It was seriously the biggest chandelier ever & hung down several stories.

Saturday we met up with cousin Collin for brunch at our hotel. I am drooling just remembering it!

Saturday night we went out for sushi at Shibuya in MGM. So delicious! And Bran even got a little bday candle on his mochi! After dinner we saw O, the Cirque show that is done in the water-amazing!
Here is the beautiful view from our balcony.

After the show Bran & I lost track of time & played craps until they closed my table at 4:30. But that's what you are supposed to do in Vegas, right? At least we came away with a little extra money!!

And I don't think the little one had a free second to miss us. She spent one night with each set of her grandparents. Here are some pics from her time in Cooper:

Sat in her new princess chair with J.O.
Played in the leaves.
Talked to the dog.

Checked out the horses.

Tea party with Gramma & Nonna

Coloring with Nonna
And of course, cows! She LOVES cows & even says "moo" when she sees them.
