Savannah is Three!

Our sweet little lady! These pics of you sure do make me happy! Love your big smile, love your shoulder shrug and head tilt, love your giant laugh! What a fun, fun age you are, Savannah! We have been able to do so many things and go so many places this year! You would much rather walk than be in a stroller and you stay with me for the most part when we go out. You love to go shopping, go to the zoo, go to play dates with friends, go to class at church, go visit Mimosa nursing home, go out to eat and go to sport's games. Your favorite things to do at home are play with your new kitchen (especially baking cookies), play with your babies (you love to change their clothes, push them in their stroller & feed them), and play in your new backyard (running up and down the hill mostly!). You play so well by yourself! You are so excited for your baby brother to get here and are going to be such a big help with him! When we have other littles over, you love to help feed, help change diapers and play with them. One thing that has really stood out to us this year about you is your memory. It's quite incredible! You remember the tiniest details of things that only happen one time & you remember for months! We definitely have to watch what you see & hear because it will be retained!! You love to dress up & pick out your own clothes. Your favorites are skirts & dresses (you say they make you a princess, but we think you are a princess anyway), anything for your feet (sparkly shoes, boots, cute socks, leggings) and wearing your hair down (you call it your Rapunzel hair). You love to help me in the kitchen. You love helping measure ingredients when baking, cracking the eggs (you do such a good job!), and stirring (you always remind me "gently!).You even  help me empty the dishwasher by putting the silverware in the drawer! You are loving your ballet and tap class and love to show us your moves and stretches at home. You sleep from about 9 to 6:30 and take a 2 1/2 to 3 hour nap (thanks baby!) You still don't eat a whole lot, but at least you aren't too picky. You love bath time and want to stay in there till the water is cold. You are using the potty some, but we still have a ways to go. One of our favorite things about you right now is your funny phrases. (You call your finger nails, "finger tails"and you say you sit "Christmas applesauce" instead of criss cross applesauce (or Indian style.) But even more than your sense of humor, we love your sweetness. You are constantly giving hugs & kisses and telling us how much you love us. Can't wait to see you showering that love on your baby brother : )
