Oh those eyes, oh those curls, oh that face. OH THAT BOY!!! I just want to kiss his face off! So does his daddy. And so does his sister. This boy loves life. He loves walking (he started in May) & loves running. I think he runs more than walks. He loves outside. If he hears that word we runs to the door & is never happy when we go back inside. He loves food & is the most enthusiastic eater. We say he's a little Papa Winn (he used to close his eyes when he ate & just say "mmm, mmm, mmm" the whole time.) Spencer nods while he eats, & even raises his eyebrows up & down while he's nodding as he enthusiastically enjoys his yummy food. He loves the water. He is learning to swim, but has absolutely zero fear of the water. He wants his face under the water the whole time. He just pushes his whole body out into the water & gets irritated with anyone trying to save his life. He is sure to be a swimmer like his sister. He loves bath time. He loves his sister & loves to play with her. They play together constantly. His toys, her toys, things that aren't toys & with nothing at all, just each other. He loves her so much that she's the first person he looks for when he wakes up in the morning. And he just mopes around the house when she is away. They are truly best friends. He loves his daddy & gets so excited to see him after work & loves wrestling & playing rough with him. And he loves his mommy. He's gotten where he wraps his arms & legs around me like a little monkey & shimmies up me like a tree if he thinks I'm about to put him down. He loves Juliette & loves pestering her. He loves making friends. He still has one word (besides mama when he is desperate) & it's "hi". And he loves using that word on everyone! Although he isn't talking (& why should he? He has a sister that talks for him & is at his beck & call), he has learned a lot more sign langue & has learned that if he points & says "uuuuugh!" enough, we will eventually figure out what he wants. Not talking, but anything but silent. He is rough & tumble & always has visible bumps & bruises. He is tough though & never seems to care. He has almost all his teeth in & knows how to use them. He is all boy, but still has a sensitive side. My favorite example is how he treats his sister. If she is ever crying from getting hurt or in trouble, he just goes to her & pats & rubs her back. So sweet! We 3 could not possibly love you more little boy!
