Oh this boy has our hearts. All 3 of us are wrapped around his sweet, chubby finger. He is a crazy, dare-devil, all-boy little guy & also this sweet, angelic little love bug. He keeps us on our toes running wild. If he's not climbing up something in order to jump off, he's galloping across the room. His new wild thing is carrying his small baseball bday stool (from the Shaws-thanks guys) around the house just looking for something to get in to. Knives in the kitchen, the fish tank, Daddy's hair clippers, everyone's toothbrush but his own, snacks, etc. And he's stacking it on things like other chairs, pillows, the bed, in order to reach. His favorite is to jump off things though. No fear. Or concern for his body. He loves jumping on the new trampoline! There are bruises, bumps or blood most days around this house : ( I guess that comes with having a boy! He is our happy eater & eats a wide variety of foods. He has become very independent in lots of ways, including feeding himself. Meal times often result in a bath. He loves all the games Savannah wants to play. Their favorites are tea party (his favorite is eating ice from his teacup), tormenting the cat, dressing up, hide-and-go-seek, jumping out & scaring each other, trains/cars & building the tracks for them, throwing balls (he has a pretty great arm already!), & playing outside. He loves the water & lays on his back in the bathtub with his face completely submerged (I'm going to have to keep a careful watch on this one at the pool in a few months!) He is already such a good brother & takes care of his sister. He shares very well with her (I think he's learned it from how she shares with him : ) He is trying to talk more & we can understand more of his sounds, but he talks more with those eyes & smile! (See pics above). He really is a people person. He gets so excited to see his sister in the morning, Daddy when he comes home, grandparents & friends. He is rarely shy to go to someone & is generous with hugs & kisses. He is a favorite at the nursing home because he walks around giving out hugs, smiles & blowing kisses. Who needs words to communicate?! He really is a sweetie & the people that know him well say, "There is just something about him." I know that sounds ambiguous, but it's the truth. There is just something about Spencer Shaw & he will do great things. We love this boy & are so thankful that he's OURS!
