Oh man, this girl. She is the perfect combo of sugar & spice (& everything nice of course!) Let me start by saying that kinder hasn't been as bad as I dreaded. I do miss her, but besides loving my one-on-one time with the little man, I have loved watching her grow as a little student with her own friends & life. And yes, she LOVES school! She has made lots of new friends, loves her teacher Mrs. Kirkpatrick, loves music, art & PE, and even likes doing her little bit of homework! Maybe the sweetest thing about watching her go off to school is how I've seen her be a good friend to other kids & include them. She noticed a girl that didn't fit in & who wasn't liking school & she took her under her wing to make her feel included. So much so that the teacher wrote me a note about her being the sweetest kindergarten friend she'd ever seen! I couldn't be a prouder mommy! Besides school, she loves playing outside, riding her scooter, jumping on the trampoline, doing tricks on the swing set, playing with her dolls, doing crafts, singing, baking & playing with her brother. She continues to be a better eater, but she continues to choose talking above eating & so it takes her forever : ) At her 6 year check-up she finally weighed 40 pounds! And is 3'9". My long legged girl!! Her favorite thing is probably playing with friends, but her best friend is still her brother. She loves being with Spencer so much (a mutual feeling) that he now sleeps on the floor in her room. Not only do they play well together, they also share really well. If she gets candy from someone she always makes sure to save half of it for him : ) She continues to be the best big sister & is so excited about her baby brother that's on the way! We all adore this girl & her big heart!
