We've made it a tradition to go for a mommy/daughter date with Katie & Lily in downtown Grapevine near Christmas. There are lots of pretty decorations, cute places for lunch & a store with lots of fancy tree decorations.
Savannah was surprisingly indecisive when it came to picking an ornament. There are countless sparkly, breakable, expensive ornaments to choose from. And after 30 minutes, she had it narrowed down to: a banana, a nurse, a martini glass, or an avocado. While I wanted to let her pick her own ornament, I didn't want to pay for a random, glittery avocado! I told her we should think about it over lunch & then come back. So, her final decision was an incredibly obnoxious fish dressed as Snow White. Hilarious. But I was much happier with this choice than the avocado!
We will remember our fun date every year when we put this on our tree!
